Five years ago, the owners of the City Walk apartment complex emptied the majority of. the units and then sought demolition permits for multiple buildings on the parcel. As you can see in ZIMAS, the applications are all still “pending”. No permits have ever been issued.
21 of the 33 roomy mid-century apartments have been sitting empty ever since.

This is a decent location, too - close to Ventura Boulevard and convenient to the 101 for commuters. And yet, it’s been left mostly empty for five years.
Sources disagree over whether this area is part of Studio City or North Hollywood. This second-generation Valley kid doesn’t want to start a fight, so I’m just going to put it down as both.
