The first fire to which Keith refers was on the 6th.
The second fire was on the 17th.
UPDATED: There was a THIRD fire very early this morning, 5/1.
Why won’t the city do anything? Surely it would cost less money to hold the property owners responsible than to deal with multiple destructive fires and removing the squatters.
Some of these property owners are required to house homeless people who continue to burn up their buildings. Linda Mendoza out of Long Beach has been fighting the city for years due to ongoing fires because she's not allowed to get these homeless people out of her own buildings. She has become a voice against these Liberal policies that create this
